Our Coaches

At Dobson Dolphins Swim Team, we have a team of experienced and dedicated coaches who are passionate about teaching children the art of swimming. Our coaches are lifeguard and CPR certified and have years of experience in competitive swimming. They work hard to create a safe and positive environment for our swimmers to learn and grow.

Sam Lint

HEAD COACH
Sam has been a part of the Dobson Dolphins for over a decade. During this period, she has spent 11 years as a swimmer, one year as a Dolphin in Training (DIT), one year as an assistant coach, and one year as the head coach. While continuing her studies at ASU, Sam is also a varsity swim coach for Heritage Academy. Given her vast experience, she is fully prepared and qualified to take on the position of head coach again this year.

Amy Pindar

ASSISTANT COACH
Amy returns to the Dolphins from Brigham Young University.  Amy has been a swimmer, DIT, Coach in Training, and an Assistant Coach for the Dolphins.  She was a member of the varsity swim team at Heritage Academy and also works as a lifeguard for the city of Mesa.

Abby Hansen

ASSISTANT COACH

This is Abby's 11th year with the Dobson Dolphins program, 10 years as a swimmer, 2 years as a CIT,  and her first year as an assistant coach.  She was a member of the 2022 State Championship swim team at Arizona College Prep.  Abby plans to attend Arizona State University this fall.

Peter Hendricks

COACH IN TRAINING

This is Peter's first year with the Dolphins. He is a high school swimmer for Chandler Prepatory Academy and an AIA state meet qualifier.
